Come, Encounter Christ is a gathering that features inspirational preaching, uplifting live music, Eucharistic adoration, and opportunities for private confession. Come, Encounter Christ experiences occur on three consecutive evenings. Each has different themes and preachers, all focused on the true Eucharistic presence of Jesus and how to begin a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. The Archdiocese of Detroit hosted 30 of these gatherings around the Archdiocese in preparation for Synod 16. Since then, many parishes have used hosted similar evenings for their own parishes.
