Have pre-made infant layette packages made up and available to any mom in need who may come to your parish seeking help. In addition to the baby items in the layette, also include a small gift for the mom, an invitation to join a church moms group, a gas gift card to get there, and a list of other local resources such as pregnancy help centers or diaper banks, where she can receive more material support.
