Packages for the Military
Organize an event to collect items and make care packages for the military. Receiving a care package from home or a parish family can be a real morale booster for a deployed service member. Parishes can collect names of service men and women. Invite parishioners to drop off items and have a packing party to prepare the "shoe boxes" filled with goodies, medals, and other religious items.
