Tips for Increasing Singing Participation at Mass
Consider the following tips for engaging more parishioners to sing at Mass: 1) Ensure that sound system volume is loud enough. Don't assume it's ok - get feedback from people in the back of the church. 2) Repeat music more frequently so that parishioners can get to know the words and melody. 3) Consider projecting lyrics on a screen. 4) Consider tempo and energy-level when leading worship so that music isn't sluggish.
